Q&A

Bride getting ready at Glemham Hall
HOW DO YOU DEFINE YOUR STYLE?

Having found photography through studying art I have an very artistic eye. I like to explore new and exciting locations to make your photos different and make them completely personal to you.

My photographic approach is very relaxed because I believe it helps you to feel more comfortable in front of my camera and it will portray you in the best light. When taking photographs I like to get a mixture of beautiful, spontaneous moments as well as naturally posed images.

HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH?

I aim to photograph about 30 weddings a year. I want to make sure I can give my Brides and Grooms the attention they deserve.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

Both my second shooter and I photograph with professional DSLR cameras. We are also equipped with different lenses and flashes.

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM US BEFORE THE WEDDING?

One month before your wedding I ask for a timeline of your day. This document contains all of the important details of the day and when they should be happening so I know where to be and when I need to be there. I also require your photo list at the same time. I advise for no more than 10 group shots due to time restrictions on the day.

WHY DO I WORK WITH A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?

If you have recently enquired with myself for wedding photography services you may have seen that in several of my collections I work with a second photographer. I have written a blog post about the importance of why I work with a second photographer and what they can bring to your wedding. To read the full post click here.

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH IN BLACK AND WHITE?

I don’t photograph in black and white, however, I do select images for black and white conversion as it adds a timeless feel to your photographs.

HOW MUCH DO YOU EDIT THE PHOTOS?

Every photo will be edited in my signature style that you see throughout my work. I colour correct the photographs so they are as true to life as possible.

ARE THE FINAL IMAGES HIGH RESOLUTION AND CAN I PRINT THEM?

Yes, absolutely! Every image is high resolution and suitable for printing.

DO WE NEED TO FEED YOU AND YOUR SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?

It isn’t necessary for you to feed us but it is always greatly appreciated if a hot meal can be provided.

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

I aim to get your photos back to you as soon as possible so you can relive your memories. You will receive your photos no later than 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Something to look forward to after your honeymoon!

DO YOU TRAVEL?

Yes! I love going to new locations, let me know where you’re tying the knot!

SOUNDS GOOD. WHEN AND HOW DO WE BOOK?

If you are interested in booking me to capture your wedding please do get in touch and if I am available I will send over my ‘Wedding Guide’. I book up pretty fast so try letting me know as soon as possible.

To secure the date I require the contract to be signed and £450 non-refundable booking fee to be paid.
