Finding your wedding DJ

Jan 21, 2019 | Wedding advice & ideas

Over the last couple of years, I’ve got to work with the talented Dreamwave DJ team on several occasions. When I find out I am working with the Dreamwave team I know that the dance floor isn’t going to disappoint, which means there will be lots of photo opportunities!

Essex & Suffolk DJ’s, Dreamwave DJ’s

These guys certainly know how to get a party started. Whether you are looking for a DJ during your drinks reception (personally think this is a fantastic idea to provide some tunes during this time) or a DJ to keep the party going until the early morning these are the guys for you.

Unlike some DJ’s where they have a go-to wedding playlist that they play every wedding, these guys work closely with you in making your own personal playlist. So if you want a house party you can have a house party. Of course, if you don’t know what sort of music you’d like they are on hand to offer you advice along the way.

If I had to put together some must-have songs on my party playlist they would have to include songs from Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Coldplay and The Script. And for my chilled reception playlist, I would have songs from Jamie Cullum, John Mayer, Micheal Buble, Us the Duo, Tori Kelly and some chilled Ibiza tracks.

When my go to party tunes come on at weddings I can’t help but join in on the dance floor (got to blend in right?). Last year at Emma and Tom’s wedding at Le Talbooth I was dancing away with the guests to JT Señorita, oh what fun!

I highly recommend the Dreamwave team and I look forward to working more with them in 2019. Here’s to more Justin Timberlake dance off’s!
