Today I’m taking you back to Laura and Harry’s elegant summer wedding! From first meeting Laura and Harry at the Glemham Hall wedding fair, I knew their day was going to be a lot of fun and it didn’t disappoint!
Laura and Harry’s wedding at Lavenham church and Gosfield Hall, Essex.
I started the day on-site at Gosfield Hall where Laura, her mum and sister were getting ready in the stunning Rococo bridal suite. The morning was so chilled and Laura was ready a little earlier than planned, meaning we had time for some bridal portraits before heading to the church. Whilst I was with the girls during bridal prep Laura my second shooter joined the guys at groom prep and followed on to the church to capture guests as they were arriving.
Their wedding had a real family-orientated feel as they were wed in a church ceremony whereby the service was held by Laura’s Aunt (how amazing is this!).
After Laura and Harry’s confetti line, they led the way to Gosfield Hall for their drinks reception. As there was a short drive between the locations we planned to do couple portraits around the stunning grounds of Gosfield Hall whilst we were waiting for guests to arrive. I recommend doing this if there is travel involved between locations, as it works really well, and often your guests won’t notice that you’ve gone and had your photos taken, especially if they are busy parking up/checking into their rooms.
I loved the styling of Laura and Harry’s wedding day, and in particular, I loved their wedding cake made by Sassa’s Bespoke, the sugarcraft was just stunning!
Thanks again to Laura and Harry for having me along to capture your day, here are the highlights of their day!
