Megan and Callum’s intimate winter wedding by the sea on Mersea Island. I always love being by the sea and this day was no exception.
As I arrived at bridal prep a little early I headed down the beachfront for some sea air and I was greeted by a rainbow over the sea. Can all weddings start with rainbows?!
The vibes during bridal prep where so chilled, Megan’s dad was reading the paper, the fire was burning and the sun was shining.
As Megan and her family are originally from Hawaii is was lovely to see some Hawaii traditions including the gorgeous flower crown.
I left bridal prep to go and meet Callum and the guests arriving at Saint Edmunds Church in East Mersea. With the wedding party being a total of 13 guests I well and truly was made to feel part of the family. They tied the knot as the setting winter sunlight poured through the church windows.
After group photos at the church I drove Megan and Callum to the sea front where they exchanged their own personal vows, this was such a privilege to capture for them and we were so lucky to have a golden sunset over the sea.
Thank you for having me along to photograph your special day!
