A British wedding makes you feel like you could be in the South of France when in reality you are in the charming Pattiwick.
On arrival at bridal preparation, I was surprised to be welcomed in by Dan the groom. Violet their daughter wasn’t too keen to put on her pretty bridesmaids dress because she was super tired, so Dan came to the rescue and took her out for a ride in the car. Before they headed off I took the camera out of my bag and like magic Violet’s tears stopped and out came the smiles which was a good sign for the rest of the day! When later meeting them out the Town Hall Violet was sporting her beautiful bridesmaid dress with daffodils in hand.
Nuala and her Dad arrived at Braintree Town Hall in a vintage mint green car, I love that they were able to drive the car themselves as it made the journey just that extra bit special!
After the ceremony, it was Dan’s turn to drive the car to The Compasses at Pattiswick. The drive to Pattiswick is always full of picturesque views, and in particular, on their wedding day, there was a slight fog over the fields with the sun was shining down.
Their wedding day itself was really chilled and relaxed. Everything just felt so warm, welcoming and homely with delicate personal touches throughout.
Wishing Nuala and Dan all the happiness in their married life together and may they have many adventures with Violet.
